天气也不怎么好，一直都是阴天雨季。
好不容易等到有阳光的周末，赶紧到Portland Waterfront沐浴阳光还有赏花去！

一周年纪念@旅行～Los Angeles,California
我很贪心哦，和老公要求了每年都要一个周年纪念旅行。
今年是我们的第一年，我们选了Hollywood，
最兴奋的是要去Universal Studios。
没有赶时间也没有紧凑的行程，所以非常享受这次的旅程。
LA的天气和Oregon 有很大差别。
LA气候是几乎常年都是夏热的而Oregon 是常年都是寒冷。
好几个月呆在Oregon的阴天下这次来到了LA并不那么排斥阳光。
反之有点享受但是享受之余我们俩也被晒到头晕晕啊！
Universal Studios真的很精彩，享受了很多听觉和视觉上的东西。
其中让我崩溃的两个是Jurassic Park & Mummy ride，
上去之前你是看不到怎么一回事因为都是室内的。
上去了后简直是要我的命啊。。。（我都不怎么玩过山车的人，怕死的）
尤其是Mummy ride眼泪都快要飙出来了，下来之后我就是个吓傻了的疯婆。
Waterworld & Terminator是我们最喜欢的Live Performance ，都看了两次。
获益不浅的是Studios Tour，看到了好多拍戏的场景可惜的是我们只可以坐在车上看。
这应该是我们２０１０年的最后一次旅行咯。
接下来２０１１年的开始是香港，然后最最最兴奋的就是要飞回家过年。
再来是不是要开始想想明年的行程了。。。呵呵！
Pumpkin Patch大南瓜！
其实对南瓜的认识并不多，知道有南瓜汤还有Halloween这个节日。
早在一个月前美国的超市就有着气氛了，各种各样的搞怪服装呢，还有巧克力和糖果。
上个周末我们就到南瓜园去，这里的大南瓜还真大呢！
大大小小都有人挑，他们是要把南瓜刻了留着Halloween 用的吗？
最后我们也买了个小南瓜，8lb重才USD1 ，超便宜对吧！赚到啦！：P
后来上网找了些南瓜食谱，等哪天又心情试一下。
成功了再跟大家分享^^
Summer Picnic
第一次参加老公家公司的summer picnic
到哪里吃喝玩乐，我们还很幸运的抽到幸运奖^^
接着还有Bingo 这游戏，小时候常玩的不过是自己在纸上画上的。
也很幸运哦！我们三人有两人赢得小奖咯^^
三个人没有空手而回哦！！！
Crater Lake National Park
从我们家到这国家公园需要5小时车程，同样的是老公和Mickey轮着开。
经过了San Francisco 长途（10小时）旅程后，5小时对他们来说
其实是小意思对吧！ 哈哈哈！
蓝蓝的火山湖
湖中的一个小岛，Wizard Island ,有个火山口在其中。
游客可以登上国家公园提供的船到那岛上钓鱼或是游泳^^
离开了Crater Lake 后我们开了一个多小时的车到另一个景点
Fort Rock State Park
在回家的路途经过了一个挺有艺术的小市镇Sister享用晚餐。
薰衣草。樱桃。红酒
。薰衣草。等待爱情
站在薰衣草园里，空气里都是薰衣草的香味。。。
。樱桃。
哈哈。。。只是做个样拍照。
要采比较高的樱桃才会甜
因为春天常小雨搞到樱桃不能健康的生长。
。红酒。

California之San Francisco饮食篇
Pier 39 著名的Clam Chowder
我们俩个都不喜欢它的面包因为吃起来好像是坏了的面包，酸酸的！

这汉堡可是非常有名也很好吃，里头的客人还真是多！
ChinaTown的点心
我可是期待了非常久啊！
因为来到了美国这些点心都很贵所以不能常吃:(

满足了我们四个饿鬼! 哈哈！
龙虾餐
听说了这里的龙虾粥和龙虾面很好吃所以特地尝了尝！
好喜欢那个龙虾面。。。回味着:P
California 之San Francisco旧金山（二）
Civic Center (市政府大楼)
建于1915年
Civic Center contains many government and cultural institutions, was built in 1915.
Lombard Crooked Street(九曲花街)
它是全美最弯曲的一条街道。这条街有40度的徒坡还有8个急转弯。
这条街两边都种着漂亮的花为它增添了不少色彩^^
Lombard Crooked Street - best known for its the crookedest street, having 40 degress steepness and 8 sharp turns. Lovely flowers along the street and can see vehicles navigates on it.
Painted Lady/Six Sister(Alamo Square)
六栋一排颜色不同的维多利亚风格的房子。
Painted Ladies - six different colour of Victorian style houses.
Union Square
这里集中了很多有名的购物牌子，它是一个一流的购物区。
这个名称源于这个地区在美国内战期间曾经用来集会支持联邦军（Union Army） 的事迹。
Union Square - central shopping, hotel, and theater district. The area was once used for rallies and support for the Union Army during the Civil War.
Twin Peaks（双峰）
这个地方可以看到整个旧金山的景色。
这是我们第二次上到才拍到的照片， 原本想要拍个夜景什么的但是天气不好结果吃白果。
山顶真的很冷很冷，第二次上去的天气也不怎么好，赶快趁雾还没把景色遮掉赶快按相机！
Twin Peak- can have spectacular view of San Francisco city. No luck for us, went up for 2 days also experienced the thick layer or mist/fog blocking the visibility of the view.
Castro Street (同性恋之都)
这条这条街上都可以看到很多彩红旗所以不说你也会懂。。。
Castro Street - Gay Village. Rainbow colours of flag are commonly associated with gay pride.

最兴奋就是到这里啦。因为太想念华人的食物了，所以特别的兴奋。

旧金山的叮当车~ 是非常有历史的叮当车
每次看到人都很多很挤。
当叮当车要开始，就会听到摇铃声意识着要其它车辆小心。

常常可以在港剧里听到的旧金山，我们真的到那里啦！
旧金山市区几乎每一条路都是上坡下坡，这是因为它是由50多座小山丘组成的。

旧金山曾经在1906年发生了八级的大地震，经过大灾难后重生的现代都市。

它是利用桥里昂侧的弧形吊带产生巨大的拉力把沉重的桥身高高吊吊起。

The weight of the roadway is hung from two cables that pass through the two main towers and are fixed in concrete at each end. It is the second longest suspension bridge in US.
桥畔的铜像是为了纪念金门桥的设计者Joseph B.Strauss而建立的。
Statue to memorize Joseph B.Strauss who was chief engineer in charge of overall design and construction of the bridge project.
Golden Gate Park ~ 因为很大而时间又有限我们就走马看花的走过而已。

大大的标志上有著名的Dungeness Crab
在Pier39码头可以看到很多海狮懒散的躺在浮板上边晒太阳边唱歌。
Pier 39 - Lot of sea lions were sun bathing.
Palace of Fine Arts 也是旧金山的代表建筑物之一。
在网上搜寻了些有关资料，原来当时是以木头搭建而成的，
主要是想表达雄伟建筑却空无一物，人的寿命有限，欲望的虚无。
后来才重新以钢筋水泥重建。
我们并不是什么艺术家所以不会欣赏但是就觉得那里很美丽和浪漫。
Palace of Fine Arts - one of main landmark in San Francisco. The design was from Roman and Greek Architecture. The sculptured figures there represents "contemplation, wonderment and meditation". Too bad we did not have artistic sense but we greatly appreciate the romantic scenery.
Coit Tower
它的背后也是有段故事~ 是一名女性，
因小時從火場死里逃生，疯狂迷恋消防队员并还时常打扮成消防队员，
后来续承了丈夫的遗产捐出盖了这座救火英雄纪念塔，塔里还有很美丽的壁画。
Coit Tower - is a monument to the firefighters of San Francisco. Funded byLillie Hitchcock Coit who was a wealthy woman who loved to chase fires in the early days of the city's history. Very beautiful wall paintings inside.
Financial District（金融区）

旧金山最高的大楼，世界第100高建筑物。
Transamerica Pyramid - the highest building in San Francisco, 100th ranking in the world.
California之17-Mile Drive
从Stanford大学开到17 -Mile Drive 只需要两个小时。
17-Mile Drive (十七哩海岸）是连接Pacific Grove 和 Pebble Beach 之间的海岸公路。
要开进这条公路每辆汽车都需要付USD9.50。
十七哩内有21个景点，都是很美的海岸风光，豪华的别墅，闻名的高尔夫球场。
在十七哩照出来的照片美得像是一幅画，很不可思议。
尤其是蓝篮的大海。。。虽然是吹着冷风但是还依然陶醉在其中。

Just another 2 hours drive from Stanford University to 17-Mile Drive.
17-Mile Drive is a scenic route along the coast through Pacific Groove and Pebble Beach. $9.50 fee imposed on every vehicle entering this scenic route. There are a total of 21 view points, consists of beautiful and clear beaches, luxury bungalows and well-known golf courses. The picture captured is like a beautiful hand-drawn painting, so awesome and unbelievable.
Especially the view of deep blue colour of big ocean... very very cold breeze but I enjoy tremendously.
在入口处我们拿了一份地图就跟着走了，一路上也有明确的路标。
Got a map guide at the entrance, there are road signs along the route too.
蔚蓝的海！
虽然是同一个海岸但是却有着不同的的蓝色，
甚至有些在 照片理好像假的，这所谓美如画吧！
Azure (blue) ocean! Same coast but different tones of blue colours. Some photos are like a fake one... as beautiful as like a real painting.
十七哩的其中一个景点~ Bird Rock
成群的海鸟与海狮聚居在海岸不远处的巨石晒太阳，多么的享受啊！
One of view point - Bird Rock. Countless of shore birds and sea lions are gathred here for sun bathing, really a delightful leisure for them.
十七哩的另一景点~ Ghost Tree
很诡异的名字对吧。。。
这里的柏树因为长期受海风与海气的影响，树皮都是白色，枝干也是东歪西扭的。

The cypress has been bleached white from wind, even the trunks are slanting in all directions.
十七哩最有名的景点~ The Lone Cypress
据说这颗古老柏树已经孤立在那岩石上而且还经历了强烈的海风侵袭超过250年了。
现在需要钢索帮支撑着的柏树，希望能超越300年。
这棵柏树可是有注册商标的，所以未经授权是不能乱用。

The cypress has prevailed on its rocky perch and has withstood the Pacific wind and storm for over 250 years. Fences and cables now offer added prorection in the hope it will live to be 300. All cypress have their own trademark registered, unauthorize use are illegal.
Spanish Bay 是十七哩的最后一个景点
可以看到很多人停在这里野餐。
无意中给我找到的心形石头^^把它带回家做纪念
Spanish Bay is the last view point.
A lot of people were picnic here.
So lucky that I found this love shaped rock as my own souvenir.

California之Stanford University
Stanford University 是全球排名第一的大学。
校园里的建筑物都充满了历史的味道。
这所大学是由 Leland Stanford （三藩市巨富）为纪念他十六岁早逝的独子（Leland Stanford Jr.）而创立的。
这所学校的全名是Leland Stanford Junior University.
开着玩笑跟老公说将来我们的孩子就在这里毕业啦！哈哈哈~~
Stanford University ranks number one in the world in 2010! The campus are full of historical buildings, the main one is called memorial court. "Leland Stanford" (San Francisco Tycoon) founded Stanford University as a memorial for their only child who died as typhoid at 16 years old. The full name for this campus is "Leland Stanford Junior University". Kidding with my hubby that my kids must be graduated here. hahah

Historical Memorial Court
Stanford大学最有名的Memorial Church，
教堂是Stanford 夫人为了纪念Stanford先生过世（因为操劳过度在梦中逝世）而建的。
听说教堂里面很漂亮但是我们到那里时并没有开放参观所以没有机会进去:(
还有要在这教堂举行婚礼的都必须是校友。
Stanford U is famous of its Memorial Church. It was built by Jane Stanford as memorial to her husband who died as heart failure due to overwork. Learnt that it is very beautiful inside but was not opened for visit as well. Those who would like to have wedding caremony here must be from member of the university community.
